Some objections are not about evidence at all. Often the person asking is not trying to win a debate but trying to make sense of God.
This module takes the five hardest questions head on. You will face the difficult texts honestly rather than skipping them, learn what Scripture actually says (and does not say), weigh the main Christian answers, including some that are debated among believers, and practise answering in a real conversation. The module builds on what you have already learned: the problem of evil (Doctrines Under Fire, Lesson 4), miracles and Hume (Foundations of Defence), the moral argument (Secular Society, Lesson 3), and the doctrines of God, sin, the cross and the last things (Know Your Faith).
One thread runs through every lesson: the cross. At the cross God's love and justice meet, the exclusive Saviour opens his arms to all, hell's sentence is borne by a Substitute, and God's final answer to evil is given. Hard questions are not obstacles to the gospel. Handled gently and honestly, they are some of the best doorways into it.
