Jehovah's Witnesses may be the people most likely to knock on your door and open a Bible with you. They are often sincere, disciplined and better drilled in their arguments than many Christians. This module helps you understand their history, from Charles Taze Russell to the Governing Body, and why the organisation's authority sits behind every verse they read.
You will learn to handle the key texts on the deity of Christ, especially John 1:1 and the New World Translation's renderings, and to explain the Trinity and the personhood of the Holy Spirit clearly. Throughout, the aim is the gospel: salvation by grace through faith in a fully divine Saviour, not loyalty to an organisation.
The final lesson moves to the doorstep itself: how Witnesses are trained, how to build trust, which questions to ask, and how to care for those who leave. Expect this to be a long game. Many former Witnesses came to Christ after years of patient, kind conversations.
